Tanya Madhvani even shared a video of her, revealing that Mumtaz is doing brilliantly and there is nothing wrong with her health. She said in the video, “There are some rumors going around that my mother wasn’t well and I would like her fans to know that she is doing brilliantly. It is just a rumor. She is in Rome with me and we are going for shopping today to buy some plants for my garden.”

Mumtaz has been living with her family in London. She was one of the leading actresses in the 70’s. Starting off as a child actor in Sone Ki Chidiya, Mumtaz shot to stardom with  Do Raaste starring opposite Rajesh Khanna. She left acting in 1977 after her film Aaina.
